MRT-RRT Stakeholder Survey 2012

The tribunals are conducting a survey of three of its important external stakeholder groups during the first half of 2012. The stakeholders we are proposing to survey include:

  • review applicants
  • interpreters
  • migration agents and/or advisers

The genesis of the survey originates from tribunals’ key operating principles identified in the Tribunals Plan 2011-13. These principles include both the need to ensure client and stakeholder interests and needs are considered in developing policies and procedures, as well as to engage positively and effectively with key agencies and interest groups.

The survey will allow the tribunals to gauge perceptions of its performance across a range of criteria and will assist in future strategic planning. The survey will also provide an important benchmark for all future external feedback on our performance from these groups.

The survey is being independently conducted for the tribunals by Buchan Consulting and will be completed before the end of this financial year.

Buchan Consulting has also been asked to speak with some of the tribunals’ external stakeholders before the project commences to better understand the way to reach each cohort and to collect any other information that will assist in the conduct of the survey.

At the end of the process the results will be published on the tribunals’ website. If you have an enquiry about the survey email enquiries@mrt-rrt.gov.au
